Responsible for steady erosion over millions of years, the unforgiving tides historical effect on the terrain is evident. The rising and falling waters have created overhanging sea caves and cliffs, and low tide is an ideal time for fossil hunting.

Holidays to the Bay of Fundy ought to include a stop at The Joggins Fossil Centre, a UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site found near Amherst and the Nova Scotia-New Brunswick border on the Fundy Shore, where you can find the world’s most sizeable collection of 300 million-year-old fossils.

The nutrient-rich Bay of Fundy is home to amazing ocean life. The finback whale, the world’s 2nd largest animal, travels to the Bay of Fundy to feed and play in the same waters as Right, Minke and Humpback whales. A whale watching tour will give you a new definition for “awesome”.

There are many amazing experiences to be found along the Fundy Shore and the Annapolis Valley. Visit the lighthouse at Cape d’Or sitting on a breathtaking point where the Minas Basin meets the Bay of Fundy, or spend an afternoon sunbathing on sands of Five Islands Park. Hike to the trails of Cape Chignecto Provincial Park to see the Three Sisters, one of Nova Scotia’s most famous rock formations, accessible only via the water or trail.

As one of Canada’s ecological wonders, the daily flow of water goes from seabed to the height of a four-storey building each 12 hours and begs to be explored.

Explore the seabed at low tide; it is a perfect chance to beachcomb for sparkling amethysts and other sea treasures. Paddle the waters of the Bay as you experience the energetic piping plovers and diverse ocean life. Go tidal bore rafting in a zodiac and watch as the rising tide overpowers the outflowing river current, leading to a tiny tidal wave followed by large rapids.

Exploring the Bay of Fundy area for several days? A Nova Scotia bed and breakfast, oceanside inn, or cottage isn’t far away, with numerous also offering remarkable restaurants with delicious fare.

Are you still left wondering where to find the highest tides exactly? Take a look at a Fundy map right here.

In less than twenty years of operation, Jet Airways – India now has nearly 100 aircraft in their operational fleet. Some of the worlds most sophisticated and advanced passenger airliners are flown by them. Their fleet for example, includes ten Boeing 777-300 ER (Extended Range) aircraft. More from the same company include over 50 Boeing 737 next-generation airliners consisting of the (-)700/800/900 aircraft. The Airbus A330-200 carriers that one sees everywhere are also operated by Jet Airways. As a young company it could have made the choice to purchase older aircraft. Because they chose not to do that, the company is considered to have the youngest fleet of air carriers in the entire global aviation community. My family wish to view the popular Taj Mahal found in India. My ultrasound technician colleague stated that it really is one of the world’s most famous architectural sensation. But I think that we will go there once I will be offered the particular leave from my job as being ultrasound technician and after that certainly enjoying my ultrasound technician salary with my loved ones. Apart from inspiring my family to check out various other superb tourist attractions in India, additionally, they mentioned in regards to the top quality and also good functions and even treatments given by the Jet Airways. They additionally affirmed that I will certainly have a wonderful and also stress-free ride at this commercial airline and are truly treated with due care while with us in our travel. I would personally like to grab this opportunity to take pleasure from my own ultrasound technician salary due to the fact I learned in one of the ultrasound technician schools in California which I studied in the past how significant it really is to enjoy a number of frequent stress reliever pursuits so as to minimized getting burnout, relax with work and also to take amazing time together with my family. And one of most common and simplest form to deal with stress is to prepare a holiday.

The IATA Board of Governors re-elected the chairman of the company (Naresh Goyal) in the beginning of June, 2011, after a historic month in May of 2011. Mr. Goyal will be on the Board of Governors until 2013. Serving his first term from 2008 to 2011, this is Chairman Goyal’s second opportunity to function. As the primary group who supervises the passenger air travel industry, IATA’s focus is primarily on maintaining proper safety standards; this is their focus, allowing the rates to remain reasonable. Ninety-five percent of the world wide commercial air traffic is represented in the two hundred and thirty members of IATA.

Jet Airways bought Air Sahara (now called JetLite) in April of 2007 for around $340M USD.

It was only a little bit more than a year after that, in 2008′s summer, that the plans for folding JetLite into the parent company were made public. In the aviation industry this is a common practice. In the beginning, the intention was to have JetLite service the lower budgeted clientele in India. The truth is that Jet Airways have served this industry well. When you consider the huge population of India, and while many are severely impoverished, there remains a sizable percentage for whom that type of service would be of benefit.

Like many other airline around the world, Jet Airways has had a long interest and involvement with giving back to their country.

The airline states they feel a responsibility to their home country of India and the people. In 1998, Jet Airways created their Yellow Rose campaign. Giving clients service and support, as a rose requires to survive, was the idea behind this pitch. Contributions from the company have been given to needy people ever since this marketing campaign was released. Clearly, Jet Airways believes that an attitude of giving to their community applies to their customers as well. and difficult economic climates. To be able to stay afloat and profitable, necessary changes were made by the company and would any other business. While it seems the global economic difficulties are not completely behind us, at the time of this writing, the airline has continued to introduce new services such as Mobile Ticketing Solution. That is a clear sign, or should be, that Jet Airways is continuing to move forward.

The Queen St Mall is the central hub for speciality shops, however there are also designer shops scattered throughout the Fortitude Valley and New Farm regions. Brisbane is also very well known for its conference and exhibition facilities at South Bank with art facilities, museums, theatres and convention centre situated on the old Expo site. A

s a cultural hub, Brisbane’s Southbank is the perfect place to take in an award winning show or musical. Brisbane is also well known as gourmet = central in Queensland, with a myriad restaurants, gourmet providers, coffee roasters and delicatessens. These are centered in the James St precinct of the city.

Brisbane is also known as the best day spa and massage capital of Queensland. With over 200 massage and day spa providers, Brisbane has some of the best day spa providers and massage therapists in Australia. These vary from the large day spas that you find linked in with five star hotels, through to smaller providers that work attached to hair dressing and beauty salons. Larger Brisbane day spas can include more exotic massage styles including the Ka Huna, Lomi Lomi and hot stone massages, and can incorporate steam rooms, saunas and other facilities into their treatments.

Smaller providers tend to offer one hour treatments of remedial or Swedish massage and tend to be cheaper. One of the more popular Brisbane massage and beauty services is the mobile day spa service. The foremost of these is Ripple Massage which provides the best .

Ripple also does traditional remedial, relaxation, pregnancy and hot stone massage styles. By the time of Federation, Queensland was the fastest growing state in Australia and Brisbane was its economic centre.

In spite of the drought, floods and depression of the 1890s, trade and industry boomed. After WW2, Brisbane continued to grow with increased industrial activity and population levels boosted by immigration.

Today Brisbane is still on of Australia’s favourite capital cities with cultural, popular and financial growth. It now sprawls out from the central river with suburbs rapidly expanding to cater to its population growth.

The city of Birmingham is situated in the county of England called the West Midlands and the city’s inhabitants are referred to as being “Brummies”. Birmingham’s accent sounds very similar to those of other northern English cities and it is very tricky to understand fully what is being discussed a struggle which is far worse if if you have not heard these accents before. Thankfully the vast majority of Brummies are polite, kind and helpful and do their very best to explain so if the need arises do not be afraid to talk to locals about help and directions or assistance with bed and breakfast in Birmingham.

Located approximately 60 kilometres south of Queensland’s capital city of Brisbane, Tamborine Mountain is a volcanic plateau set within Australia’s Gold Coast hinterland.

An outpouring of lava from nearby Mount Warning – many millenia ago – created Tamborine Mountain’s lush, forested plateau which is approximately 8 km long by 5 km wide and now sits 600 metres above sea level.

The many attractions of the Mount Tamborine area and its picturesque villages include craft and antique shops, cafes and restaurants and numerous galleries which attract thousands of tourists every season.

The area is also known for its award-winning wineries with many offering tours, free tastings and affordable meals in beautiful surroundings. If you enjoy walking, nine National Parks within the region await you. Shady walking tracks lead through magnificent subtropical rainforest and past breathtaking waterfalls, natural swimming holes and rock pools. Sun dappled picnic and BBQ areas pepper the way and spectacular lookouts offer stunning views towards the ocean as well as to the West over the hinterland.

The Rainforest Discovery Skywalk is one of the latest Tamborine Mountain attractions and was completed in early 2009. Set on 30 acres of magnificent rainforest and alongside a tumbling creek, the Skywalk consists of an eco walking trail that leads to a 40m-long platform set 30m above the rainforest canopy. A short drive away, another popular attraction are the Glow-worm Caves that offer guided underground sightseeing tours through two spectacular man made caves filled with thousands of glow worms.

The rich volcanic soil of the area supports a diversity of horticulture which can be enjoyed on nature walks as well as by visiting the local Botanic Gardens. The bounty of many residents’ gardens is also on display at several roadside stalls that abound with kiwi fruit, rhubarb, avocados and macadamia nuts quaintly displayed around an ‘Honesty Box’.

This small plateau is also rich in animal and bird life. Platypus, green tree frogs, scrub turkeys, wallabies and of course koalas form part of the Mountain’s varied range of wildlife and in the morning, the calls of lorikeets, kookaburras and lyrebirds can be heard.

The state of Queensland is known as Australia’s Sunshine State and on Tamborine Mountain, you can enjoy abundant sunshine year-round but without the heat and humidity that the more northerly parts of Queensland often endure.

The beaches, shopping malls, theme parks and many other Gold Coast attractions are a comfortable 40-minute drive from Mount Tamborine while Brisbane is one hour away, making the Mountain the ideal ‘base-camp’ location from which to explore south-east Queensland.

The nearest international airport is Brisbane’s, however national travellers often opt for Coolangatta (Gold Coast) airport, a mere 45-minute drive from Tamborine Mountain.

Whether you are parents-to-be seeking a tranquil Babymoon destination, a newly engaged couple looking for that perfect Honeymoon location or if you are simply looking for the best Accommodation Mt Tamborine you will delight in the serene privacy of Mount Tamborine’s Witches Falls Cottages.

Witches Falls Cottages offer an idyllic retreat to nature and consist of private cottages tucked away along rainforest pathways in one of Tamborine Mountain’s and perhaps even Australia’s most secluded and peaceful locations.

Consider Nottingham and the vast majority of tourists consider the legend of Robin Hood, his band of merry men and the Sherrif of Nottingham and although folklore attracts increasing numbers of visitors year after year there is plenty more to the area than your would think. Indeed Nottingham has a respectable selection of great local attractions and it makes it an excellent place for a short break and the following article examines the city more closely and a small selection of Nottingham visitor attractions, as well as some hotels offering Nottingham bed and breakfast.

The city of Nottingham is located in the county of Nottinghamshire, East Midlands, England, UK. As well as the legend of Sir Robin Hood and the Sheriff of Nottingham, the city of Nottingham is also known for the production of lace especially during the Industrial Revolution when it an amazing worldwide reputation.

The Lace Market

At one time the heart of the worldwide lace industry, at the time of the British Empire, Nottingham’s Lace Market is, now, a protected heritage area. The area features a great many superb examples of industrial architecture of the Nineteenth Century. The market wasn’t like a normal market, instead of having salesmen and stall, the market was more a collection of salesrooms and warehouses displaying and selling lace. After the downturn in the lace industry the Lace Market became rundown but, today, the vast majority of the warehouses have been renovated and restored for other purposes such as photographic studios and the likes. The Lace Market is a popular visitor attraction.

Shire Hall

Near to the Lace Market can be found Shire Hall and the Galleries of Justice. The Hall is a Georgian-built building which features Neoclassical columns, pilasters and dome. The facade has, if you examine it carefully, a spelling mistake Goal instead of Gaol. Shire Hall has 2 superbly preserved Victorian courtrooms and bath house, old cells, a women’s prison, an Edwardian police station and a prisoner’s exercise yard.

The City of Nottingham is a superb place to have a short city break. There is lots to see and do within the city and a huge selection of tourist attractions not too far away. Nearby places to visit include; Hardwick Hall, Newstead Abbey and Wollaton Hall.

As all all England bed and breakfast, accommodation in Nottingham is mostly extremely good at a reasonable cost and many folk choose to stay in Nottingham for part of their vacation and then somewhere else for the remainder.

The ‘Fair City’ of Perth in Scotland , a once royal burgh, can be found at the head of the Tay estuary. Between the C12th and C15th Perth vied with Dunfermline for the right of being the capital of Scotland. In the article below I discuss 3 places to visit in Perth, Scotland; Huntingtower Castle, Elcho Castle and Scone Palace:

Scone Palace

These days, Scone Palace is the home of the Earls of Mansfield, and a popular attraction to tourists from around the planet. The palace is an important part of Scotland’s history, as the kings of Scotland were once crowned there. In 1306, Robert the Bruce was crowned at Scone Palace, as was Charles II when he took possession of the Scottish Crown in 1651. There is a mysterious and beautiful feel to the palace, which is rightly so.At one time in the past the site served as an important gathering place of the Picts and there was also an early Christian church on the site.

Elcho Castle

Lying around 3 miles from the city of Perth, with breathtaking vistas across the River Tay, is Elcho Castle. The castle is one of the best examples of Sixteenth century architecture in Scotland today. The Wemyss family commissioned the building of the castle in the 1570′s. The land had been in the family since 1468, when it was consigned to them by King James III. In 1633, the head of the family was given the titles of Earl of Wemyss and Lord Elcho. Elcho Castle and it’s lands remained the property of the Wemyss family until 1929. At this time, the 11th Earl of Wemyss, granted the castle to Scotland. The castle has recently been renovated and is now in the care of Historic Scotland.

Huntingtower Castle

Located just west of Perth is the medieval Huntingtower Castle. Although the castle is originaly medieval, it has been redeveloped significantly throughout the majoprity of it’s history. The Ruthven family were the owners of the lands and castle from the 1100′s to the 1600′s. During this time the castle consisted of 2 separate towers, built three meters apart. When the Murray family took possession, later on in the C17th, they decided to amalgamate the two towers, making the house look more like a regular country mansion. The bridging work between the two towers is still rather noticeable today, on both the inside and the outside.

If you are thinking about a city break in Perth you will discover a large amount of online Perth hotels and guest houses and you will discover a broad selection at http://www.perthhotelscotland.com/

The city of Stirling has appeared throughout the history of Scotland, especially during crucial events. In and around Stirling has a fantastic selection of spectacular tourist attractions and a huge amount of photographic opportunities. In article that follows I provide information about three places to visit in Stirling; Stirling Old Town Jail, Stirling Castle and Argyll’s Lodging:

Stirling Castle

Situated two hundred and fifty feet above the city of Stirling, and surrounded on three sides by steep cliffs is Stirling Castle. Stirling Castle is very important in Scotland’s history, there have been several coronations at the castle, including Mary Queen of Scots coronation in 1543. Stirling Castle was also witness to a shocking murder in 1452. The 8th Earl of Douglas was victim to James II in 1452. Stirling Castle is home to the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders, even though they are, unfortunately no longer stationed there. However, the regimental museum of the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders, can be found in the castle.

Stirling Old Town Jail

The Stirling Old Town Jail we see today was not the first jail in Stirling, for four hundred years, Stirling’s prisoners were incarcerated in the Old Tollbooth Jail. This jail was terribly overcrowded, and smelt vile, with twenty four prisoners in each cell, and no sanitation. The Tollbooth jail was condemned, because of the inhuman living conditions there, and in 1847 the current jail was opened. Although the jail was classed as a custodial prison, from 1888 to 1935, it was also the only military jail in Scotland. Today the Stirling Old Town Jail is a tourist attraction, and was only renovated in the 1990′s. As well as guided tours, there is a glass paneled elevator that leads to a viewing deck at the very top of the jail. From here you is able to gaze out across the Forth Valley, and gaze upon the Highland mountains.

Argyll’s Lodging

Argyll’s Lodging is on Castle Wynd, near the middle of Stirling and is Scotland’s finest existing renaissance mansion. The house was built around 1630, by Sir William Alexander, founder of Nova Scotia and Viscount Canada. Sir William Alexander who became Secretary of State for Scotland, and then became the first Earl of Stirling. Argyll’s Lodging became the property of the Argyll family on his death and was further extended by the ninth Earl in 1666. The rooms which include the dining room, bed chamber, drawing room and laigh hall, have all been superbly furnished and restored, as they would have looked when the 9th Earl lived there, around 1680.

If you are in the process of planning a weekend break in Stirling you will discover a large amount of online Stirling hotels and guest houses and you will find a huge range at http://stirling.hotelreservationhelper.com/

Glasgow is Scotland’s largest, and most lively, city with superb shopping opportunities and a highly enjoyable night scene. For the more bohemian tourist there are countless places to go especially in the West End which has tea rooms, cafés, boutiques, bars, restaurants and clubs as well as some superb Glasgow bed and breakfast accommodation. In the article below I will discuss 3 Glasgow tourist attractions which should be of special interest to those people who have an interest in art; the Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum, the House For An Art Lover and the Burrell Collection:

Burrell Collection

Sir william Burrell and his wife gifted the Burrel Collection to the city of Glasgow in 1944 and the collection can be viewed at Pollok Country Park in the south of Glasgow This magnificent collection of art works is made up of over 9,000 pieces of art. The collection is very diverse containing a selection of modern artistic sculptures plus a collection of Islamic art. There are paintings by a variety of artists including Cezanne and Degas. Besides paintings and sculptures one is able to enjoy the spectacular collection of English furniture, alabasters, stained glass and tapestries. On top of all this, the Burrell Collection also displays a most important collection of art from the medieval period and collections from ancient China and Egypt.

House For An Art Lover

House For An Art Lover is one of the most popular visitor attractions in Glasgow. The Art Nouveau House was designed, originally, by Glasgow’s most famous architect, Charles Rennie Mackintosh who was aided by his talented wife, Margaret Macdonald.

Actually the design was created for a 1901 competition to create plans for a ‘House for an Art Lover’, however, the entry from the Mackintosh couple was disqualified because of late submission. Fortunately, over 100 years later the house stands in Bellahouston Park due to the efforts of the architect Professor Andy Macmillan and the engineer Graham Roxburgh. Construction began in 1989, ceased for a short time but resumed in 1994 thanks to the collaboration between the Glasgow School of Art and the Glasgow City Council.

Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum

The Kelvingrove Art Gallery is Glasgow and Scotland’s premier museum and art gallery, and it houses one of Europe’s great civic art collections, but also it is one of Scotland’s most popular free to enter tourist attractions.

You will find Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum in the West End of Glasgow, on Argyle Street, on the banks of the River Kelvin. The gallery was constructed in a Spanish Baroque style following the Glaswegian tradition of using red sandstone. The building was designed by E.J. Milner Allen and Sir John W. Simpson and opened in the year nineteen hundred and one. The collections of the museum originally came from the old Kelvingrove House Museum and the McLellan Galleries.

If you are planning to have a holiday in Glasgow you will discover plenty of online hotels and guest houses providing Glasgow bed and breakfast accommodation. You will find a broad range of Glasgow hotels and guest houses at http://www.glasgowhotelscotland.com/
