You worked so hard the whole year and now is the time to pack your suitcase so you can fly off into the sunset. It is always a fantastic feeling when you land at a new airport and everything is strange and different to your culture.
Everywhere you look you hear and see how relaxed the people are. You can’t wait to hit the beach and even had the strange experience of a brazilian wax, because your bikini is a tad skimpy, and you need to look perfect when you strut your stuff down the road. The time is near for the festivities to start and you can hardly contain yourself. The music is intoxicating and the dancers are mesmerizing, yes we are talking about Rio de Janeiro and it’s famous carnival. Here the perfect bodies will dazzle you as they are shown off with outlandish costumes and ear to ear smiles. It is a time for endless fun on the beach and to try out her culinary delights in her many restaurants.
Day two and you just can’t get yourself out of bed. You feel tired and a bit weak in the knees. You know it is because of jet lag and you decide to stay in. You saw in a brochure that the hotel as a wellness spa and that they believe in holistic therapy in dealing with aches and pains. You get a good body massage to sooth away those cramps in your legs, while listening to wonderful uplifting music.
Rio – as it is called, has so many wonderful sights to see that you need to take an organized day trip to orientate yourself first. The city is busy and pulsating with traffic and pedestrians. The sun is hot and many people walk around with shorts and a t-shirt. The beaches are where it’s at and there you will find well built bodies of all ages, sizes and shapes.
Today Rio has a cold spell which is sometimes quite acceptable as it kind of slows you down and makes you relax a bit more. The arctic wind blows in freezing winds but no worry for you, as you found a two beautiful home space heaters in your hotel room. It works marvelously as it warms up the room just enough to make it feel cozy. You curl up with a book you bought about supplementing medicines and before you know it you drift off into a dreamy sleep.
