Airports in busy parts of the world can be expensive places to park your car and you may need to park some distance away from the airport to save costs.
Price is used to differentiate between convenient and easy parking and less convenient but cheaper car parking at airports. Providing you are not concerned about the cost you can often park next to the airport. The airline passenger is limited in their choice and sometimes car travel is the most suitable way to get to the airport especially when travelling at difficult times of day or night. Airports usually have good transport connections but not always ones that suit the passengers from further distances.
Many airports offer airport car parking alternatives and are served by train connections with the trains arriving almost inside the airport terminal but that only helps if you can easily get to a train station on the right line for the airport. Buses and coaches may offer another option for travellers but getting on and off buses can be difficult if you are travelling with luggage.
Getting on a bus or coach with your luggage is not as easy or convenient as using your car. The service they offer will decide when you travel and how long that will take rather than you choosing yourself. Expensive parking charges are what faces you when you decide for convenience you want to drive and park at Stansted airport and catch your flight.
