African Safari – How To Get There
Although there is only one obvious way to travel to Africa to begin your safari holiday there are a variety of different ways you can travel. I am of course talking about by plane. It’s no secret that plane fares have actually increased over the past few years with the introduction of fuel tax which has notably bumped up the price of tickets globally. People have now been forced to consider whether they are able to fly long distance and many people have been forced to rethink if they are actually able to afford to fly at all, what with other essential commodities like food rising in price.
If this is a trip you have been saving up for a few years to go on would you be prepared to spend that little bit more to ensure that it’s a memorable holiday? Maybe you are travelling to Africa to go on a Zambia Safari or a Safari in Botswana? If so then this will mean a flight of at least 8 hours for most safari tourists. Do you have intentions to visit the Serengeti National Park or Table Mountain in Cape Town? If so and you have only a short period of time to make the most of your trip then why not travel first class? Although it is considerably more expensive than economy class, you will arrive at your destination more refreshed, well rested and ready to begin your safari right away. Everybody has travelled in economy class and knows what it’s like to try and sleep, not that easy! I personally think it is worth spending the extra money to get a good night’s sleep rather than suffering on the first day of your holiday with fatigue.
If you have done your research then you will know there are some absolutely spectacular places to stay throughout Africa including the Faru Faru Lodge and the Lemala Manyara Camp. If you go the full hog on your holiday and book into one of these resorts your trip will be the most memorable one to date.
